How Much Will Renault’s New EV Cost?
While the official name and technical specifications of the car have not yet been revealed, Renault has provided an early price estimate. The automaker confirmed that the upcoming EV will be priced below €18,000—which translates to approximately R$107,400 in direct conversion, excluding taxes and import duties.
For comparison, the BYD Dolphin Mini, after local taxes, is currently priced between R$115,800 and R$119,800, depending on the configuration. Renault’s aggressive pricing strategy suggests that the new model could become one of the most affordable electric cars on the market, making EV ownership more accessible to a broader audience.
